Welcome to the very first edition of Gretar Holdings Weekly! Starting today, every Friday at 17:00 we'll publish a fresh post right here on the News page covering everything happening on the server: updates, events, contests, community highlights and the occasional sneak peek at what's coming next. If you've ever logged in and wondered "what did I miss?", this is the place to find out.
Why We're Starting a Weekly Post
Our community has grown a lot over the past year, and a lot happens between login sessions. Announcements get buried in chat, event times get mixed up, and great builds go unnoticed. A weekly post gives everyone, from brand-new players to long-time regulars, one reliable spot to catch up in a couple of minutes.
What You Can Expect
Patch notes explaining new features, fixes and balance changes in plain language.
Event announcements with dates, rules and rewards, posted well ahead of time.
Build contests, results and showcases of the best creations on the server.
Monthly community spotlights celebrating helpful and creative players.
Store sales, vote rewards and other ways to earn perks.
How to Get Involved
The easiest way to support the server is to play! Jump in at mc.gretarholdings.com:25559, say hello in chat and explore the world. Voting for the server every day helps new players find us and earns you crate keys and in-game currency. If you'd like to help keep the lights on, the store has ranks and cosmetics that don't affect fair gameplay.
Got an idea for a future post, an event you'd love to see or a build you think deserves the spotlight? Let a staff member know in-game or drop it in the suggestions channel. This blog is for you, so we want to hear what you'd like to read.
New to the Server?
If this is your first visit, start at the spawn tutorial path. It walks you through land claims, jobs, the market and the minigame hub in about ten minutes. Once you're done, grab the free starter kit, pick a spot in the wild and set your first home with /sethome. Don't be shy about asking questions in chat, because our community loves helping newcomers find their feet.
